Avila
Come to Avila beach for independence day and spending your morning enjoying a pancake breakfast and doggie parade. The event will be held at the Avila beach community center. Breakfast starts at 8am and the parade begins at 11:30am.
The pancake breakfast is $5, half price for kids under 6. Pre-registration for the doggie parade visit the avila beach civic association website. Same day registration is available for $5 suggested donation at the pancake breakfast. All dogs must be checked in at the doggie parade table, located in front of the Avila Beach Civic Center at 197 San Miguel Street.
Cayucos
Fourth of July is a fabulous day in Cayucos. The sand sculptures are created by children, novices, and professionals. (Maybe you would like to build one?)They are truly works of art. The hometown parade is a delight to all. Make sure you come early to find parking and your observation spot. And the fireworks display being shot off the pier? Well, come see for yourself. Find that special spot on the beach and enjoy the show. Cayucos rocks on the Fourth of July! Please leave fireworks at home. No fires, fireworks or alcohol on beach.

Morro Bay
Come enjoy a family friendly, alcohol-free event at Tidelands Park. We encourage you to BYOP (Bring Your Own Picnic) and participate in events throughout the day. This year’s 4th of July celebration is a daytime only event. There will not be a fireworks show in Morro Bay.
9 am Registration; 10 am Race Morro Bay Mile Skateboard Race. We’re stoked to present the 6th Annual Morro Bay Mile. This year the course has changed. The start is at Morro Bay High School’s back entrance and makes its way along the beach and bay to end at the submarine on the Embarcadero. You’ll make history by being the first event to cross the new bridge over Morro Creek! Helmets required. There will be cash and product prizes.
12pm Official Ribbon Cutting for the Morro Creek Bike and Pedestrian Bridge & the Kickoff of the Bike Parade. Deck out your bikes in Red, White & Blue then join this spirited parade. The event is for non-motorized bikes only and children under 18 must wear a helmet. Park at Morro Bay High School and meet up on the north side of the Morro Creek Bridge and ride 1.5 miles to Tidelands Park. Park your bike securely at the Bike Valet at the Park.

Templeton
Templeton’s 4th of July parade is sponsored each year by Templeton Kiwanis. The festivities begin at 10:00 am on July 4 and run along main street and Crocker Street. After the parade, please join us back at Templeton community park for the awards ceremony, food, entertainment, music, fun and games. Enjoy live music by Matt Nino’s band and triple down theory. Check out the many food and craft vendors that will be there until 3:00pm. Beer and wine for sale by the rec foundation.
