The Chamber of Commerce is hosting and the League of Women Voters is moderating a Morro Bay City Council candidates’ forum, set for 6-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 3 at the Morro Bay Community Center, 1001 Kennedy Way.
The event will be broadcast live by AGP Video on Charter Cable Ch. 20 and online at: slo-span.org.
Replays of the forum will be put into the Ch. 20 program rotation for rebroadcasting (see: slo-span.org for schedule).
The public is invited to attend this free event and submit questions to the candidates — Mayor Jamie Irons, Betty Winholtz and Tina Metzger for mayor; and Robert Davis, Richard Sadowski, Marlys McPherson and Laura Cogan for council.
League volunteers will sort and ask the questions, keeping answers to a strictly timed regime. See lwvslo.org for info on future League election events.
