Morro Bay Submarine to Open for Tours

The Morro Bay Maritime Museum Assoc., will have guided tours inside its submarine, Avalon, over Labor Day Weekend, raising money to support its project to build a temporary museum and outdoor display.
Cost is $5 donation for adults and kids 12-under free with a paid adult.
The Avalon, which is a deep sea submersible rescue vehicle and one of only two ever made by the U.S. Navy, will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday-Sunday, Sept. 5-6 in the Front Street parking lot.
