New businesses are coming to Los Osos/Baywood Park and with them comes new energy and enthusiasm for our town and the Los Osos/Baywood Park Chamber of Commerce. These new businesses such as Bowser Boutique, Pagnol at 3rd Street Bakery, Zacster’s Hobbies and More, Juls Comfy Closet and Grocery Outlet recognize the value of being Chamber members. They believe that when a business is active in its local Chamber of Commerce it is doing the right thing not only for their success but for the community as well.

The Los Osos/Baywood Park Chamber is so proud of our increase in Ribbon Cuttings for both new and relocated businesses (i.e. Starbucks Coffee, Martin’s Mexican Restaurant) plus mixers every month where Chamber members and the community have learned about what is happening among our local businesses.

A few years back the Chamber revamped the Membership Levels to optimize benefits available to our members giving each and every one of them more opportunities to advertise and promote to customers. We offer the same support for all levels of membership, the only difference being the frequency of ads and few special perks. We are excited this year to welcome three Diamond Levels members, Sage Ecological Landscapes and Nursery, Juls Comfy Closet and Grocery Outlet.

Our Chamber members involvement in community events, through sponsorship and direct participation, strengths the impact on those who live here and take part in those events. The community is richer because of their presence and support.

Thank you to our members for supporting two of our longest running and community favorite events; Oktoberfest and the Christmas Parade. The 38th Annual Oktoberfest will feature even more local breweries for everyone to check out and since this years’ event falls on October 30th there will be costume contest for pets, kids and even adults. We will also be launching our new community wide event Festival de Osos (Bear Festival) at Oktoberfest which will run throughout the month of November. The Christmas Parade is scheduled for December 10th with the theme being a Super Hero Christmas. More details about these events and other activities happening in Los Osos/Baywood Park can be found at www.lobpchamber.org.

The Los Osos/Baywood Park Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary partnership of business and professional people working together to improve the quality of life in Los Osos/Baywood Park. Our sleepy town is becoming more awake and involved.
