The now decade old Gathering of Friends car show held a well attended event July 10 in SLO’s Laguna Lake Park. The event fetes European automobiles and hosts a few vintage motorcycle, too. Car entry fees go to support Jack’s Helping Hand, a local charity that provides assistance to children suffering with cancer and their family needs.

The CCCRPCA and the Porsche 356 Club sponsor the European Classic Car Concourse. The Kiwanis barbecued lunch with proceeds going to the charity as well. Some of the cars included a yellow MGB, a Citroen, a red Triumph TR-3, a blue MGA, a 1933 Rolls Royce Shooting Brake, and a classy, Nash Healey grille.
