On Dec. 3, Santa arrived in SLO at the Amtrak Station on the Pacific Surfliner and took a little trolley from Santa Rosa Street over to the SLO Railroad Museum. The train platform was packed with people, the little ones waiting with sometimes bated breath for the jolly old elf’s procession, which made its way to the Museum for a meet and greet with Santa and Mrs. Claus. They received visitors and families in the La Cuesta, the Museum’s historic retired observation car.
