The 35th Annual Morro Bay Harbor Fest drew thousands of folks from all over to the waterfront, to sample seafood dishes, peruse the local shops and vendors, and hear some great live music, capped by Jimmy Buffet tribute band, Garratt Wilkins and the Parrotheads. The Annual Hawaiian Shirt and Oyster Eating contests were a treat and once again, a spectacular fireworks show lit up the night over Morro Bay Harbor. This is the second year the 1-day Festival was held along the Embarcadero — closed to traffic from Marina to Harbor streets — with free admission, and it seemed to be a rousing success.
