September to October may be reserved for beer lovers with Oktoberfest celebrations popping up from SLO to Bavaria, but one night was set aside for samples from all things locally fermented Sept. 29.
Downtown SLO hosted the large tasting event with retailers pairing local wineries, breweries, cider-makers and spirit distillers with restaurants across 28 participating shops. Tickets were $40, purchased through the SLO Downtown Association.
