Four Busted in Drug Sweep

Four San Luis Obispo men were arrested on various drug charges after police investigated citizens’ complaints of suspicious activity at a home in their neighborhood.

According to Sgt. Chad Pfarr, police had received multiple reports of “illegal activity” occurring at a home in the 300 block of Tolosa St.

“Over the past two weeks,” Sgt. Pfarr said, “investigators conducted an investigation into the complaints, which culminated in the arrest of four suspects today [July 11].”

Police cite-released the four men found at the home. They were: Chad Strampe, 21, for suspicion of being under the influence of a controlled substance;
Raymond Arguelles, 32, suspicion of possessing controlled substances and drug paraphernalia; Charles Simmons, 34, suspicion of possession of methamphetamine; and
Drew Maness, 25, suspicion of UTI on drugs.

All four individuals were released on a citation from the Police Department,” Sgt. Pfarr said.
