Happy Anniversary: 60 Years’ Experience Does a Body Good!

Ornament 162016 is proving to be a year filled with great possibilities. It is fortunate for the business community of Morro Bay that its Chamber of Commerce is celebrating 60 years of experience navigating the seas of change.

In this year of celebration, the Morro Bay Chamber is answering the call to modernize, to strengthen its programs, and to work in collaboration with public and member-based organizations all along the Central Coast.

The Chamber will best serve its membership, and the business community as a whole, as a grounding force during this period of great possibilities in Morro Bay.

We want to hear what concerns and excites business owners, and citizens alike, of this great seaside city. The more we hear from you, the clearer our collective voice and the stronger our advocacy efforts will be!

The 2016 Board of Directors, led by Chairperson Cyndee Edwards, is fresh, rooted in Morro Bay, and forward thinking.

Collectively, the Morro Bay Chamber’s volunteer Board of Directors has clocked over 25,000 hours of service over the past 60 years. The number of hours clocked by its volunteer ambassadors is an even greater number of hours spent in social celebration of our community’s vitality.

If you are not yet a member, or have not been a member for some time, please consider joining the Chamber this year. New 2016-2017 members can expect better customer service, more technological capacity, and a greater voice in discussions about economic development in Morro Bay.

Members receive a $150 or $300 voucher for free advertising in local press upon sign up/renewal. Our offices are located at 695 Harbor Street, and our new Executive Staff, led by CEO/President Erica Crawford, are ready to work for you!
