Members and guests of the Rotary Club of San Luis Obispo turned out for a ‘Spaghetti Western’ Dinner May 14 at the Ludwick Community Center in SLO.
With the assembly hall packed and pasta donated by Cafe Roma, guests helped fund next year’s scholarship awards with silent auction items donated by local businesses, a cake walk, and of course the $25 ticket price.
A total of 19 local students received a combined $68,150 in scholarships from the club ‘s proceeds of last year’s event and two from the Billy Watson Memorial Scholarship for music.
