The “Compassionate Hearts of Noor” 3rd Annual Thrift and Consignment Store Fashion Show took place June 26 at Congregation Beth David.

Entrants picked up items at local thrift shops and put together an ensemble for the catwalk in the charity event that supports the Noor Foundation, a free clinic based in SLO.

Some of the clothes are sold to support the cause and a ticket to the event buys a meal and evening of fashionable entertainment.

This year volunteer physicians, dentists, and optometrists were honored for their dedication to providing care to the uninsured.

The SLO Noor Foundation was established in December 2009 as a 501(c)3 nonprofit to help provide free, non-emergency health care to those who could not otherwise afford to access care in SLO County. Their primary clinic on Philips Lane is reachable at 439-1797.
