Police Arrest Alleged Flasher

Morro Bay police have arrested a local transient man after he allegedly exposed himself in a city park. According to Cmdr. Bryan Millard, at about 2:15 p.m. Monday, Feb. 9 police responded to Del Mar Park, in North Morro Bay, for a report of a man “exposing his genitals to children in the park.” Arriving police reportedly watched the suspect “actively exposing himself with several children in the nearby area,” Millard said. When officers tried to arrest the suspect, he reportedly struggled with them but no one was injured, according to Millard. Police arrested William Kirk Tallman, 46 a local transient, on suspicion of indecent exposure and resisting arrest. Police are asking anyone with questions or concerns about the case or who might have additional information about the suspect, to call them at 772-6225.
