SLO Brew has reopened at long last in Downtown SLO with a new location – at 736 Higuera St. – a new vibe, a new creekside patio, and new food, but with the same good beer and standing room only concerts.
Nick Waterhouse inaugurated “the Brew” location as the first performer on the night of June 23rd but the bar was only set to resume normal hours the next week.
Since leaving the iconic Garden Street location, the owners have split SLO Brew into three venues; “The Brew,” “The Rock” and “The Lofts,” with apartment units for short term rental above the bar location.
“The Rock” a brand new large-scale brewery with tasting room and outdoor concert venue near the SLO Regional Airport is being readied for a tentative opening in the first week of July.
Monophonics, a SF Bay Area psychedelic-soul band, is the next scheduled act at “The Brew” July 7.
