Summer has officially kicked off for San Luis Obispo. Concerts in the Plaza have started rocking out the Mission every Friday night between now and Sept. 11, 2015.
In the audience, which numbered in the hundreds June 12 were a few locals who helped kick off the event when the audience for the very first concert was “about a dozen” in 1995. When the time came time to organize round two in 1996, reliable sources say that more people were there to get in on the planning action than had even been to the first event.
Times change and on June 12 some Indie Rock from, The Lakes helped kick off the two-decade mark in style.
The SLO City News missed Celtic Rock styling of Young Dubliners on June 19 but we got some great pics of the revelries of the previous week and you can catch long time crowd favorites Próxima Parada on June 26.
