Rodger’s year of service as president was acknowledged with a small memento, and books will be placed in the libraries at each of the coastal schools in her honor.
The Board also voted to move the monthly Measure D study session meetings from Fridays to Thursdays in 2017. Meeting times of the sessions was also changed and will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., “with possible variations to allow for an afternoon meeting schedule occasionally,” the district announced.
