The Lady Pirates’ Softball Team got a complete-game 4-hitter out of Kendall Schemmer last Friday and beat Santa Maria 4-0 to improve to 3-1 in the Los Padres League (4-7-1 overall). Sarah Sandoval had three hits and scored a run and Alyssa Noriega had two hits and 1 RBI. The team plays April 9-11 in the Best of the West Tournament and then resumes LPL play April 14 at Orcutt Academy, hosting Cabrillo April 17. Photos by Neil Farrell
