Succulent Society Keeps SLO Green

Photos by Herb Shoebridge ~

Cactus and Succulent Society-4-2The latest meeting of the Central Coast Cactus and Succulent Society was held June 12 and first time visitors got a free spot of green to take home and hopefully keep alive for years to come.

Photographer Herb Shoebridge stopped by for the May meeting and took a few snaps, but you’re not too late for July. Meetings are held every second Sunday of the month at 520 Dana St. in San Luis Obispo. Plant raffles and exchanges are also part of the fun.

They welcome locals who are new to the hobby, “looking for advice on growing plants, and want to learn more about cacti and succulents.”
