May 15 is the final, final deadline to “Take the All In Student Challenge” for 2015 at www.allindriver.com created and sponsored by McCarthy’s of San Luis Obispo. The program was revised this year to reach out to all Central Coast students 16 years of age or older in San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara counties with a valid CA Driver’s License and student ID.  It doesn’t matter if students are in high school, community college,  or university, Mike McCarthy and Coach Tommy Miner plus the California Highway Patrol are asking students to agree to drive – and live – smart and responsibly.  Ten students and their parents will be randomly selected to join the festivities May 30 at McCarthy’s at 43 Higuera Street for a barbecue and drawing of the lucky winner of a Scion tC. Then during the 2015-2016 academic year all students who took the challenge will receive email questions as a reminder to drive, ride and live smart all the time and if the student returns the emails he or she could win one of 20-$500 scholarships offered by McCarthy’s of San Luis Obispo.
