SLO County 2015 Annual Report Out

Do you wonder what the County Government does with all those tax dollars?

The 2015 Annual Report has been released giving a look into the machinations and milestones, investments and in some regards the priorities of SLO County, which had an overall budget of some $564.3 million for the current Fiscal Year 2015-16.

“From breaking ground on the new airport terminal to completing and reopening the Cayucos Pier,” County Administration said in a news release, “the County’s many projects affected residents in various ways and will continue to have an impact for years.”

County Administrative Officer Dan Buckshi said, “The 2015 Annual Report is a glimpse into what the County did for the community last year. We had an extremely busy year and accomplished a lot, but we also faced many challenges.”

The report is available online at: www.SLOCountyAnnualReport.com and the website includes a nifty video introduced by Dist. 5 Supervisor and Board Chairwoman Debbie Arnold and segments with various department heads. The document itself is available in pdf format.

The County has been publishing the report since 2010, “in an effort to enhance communication with the public and raise awareness of how the County serves the community to enhance the economic, environmental and social quality of life here,” reads the news release.
