San Luis Obispo Police are looking for a man they said made lewd comments to a teenage girl as she walked down Los Osos Valley Road.
According to Capt. Chris Staley, the 15-year-old girl was walking north in the 12000 block of LOVR at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13 when she was approached by a man in a vehicle near Auto Park Way. The man asked her for directions to Higuera Street.
“The girl briefly spoke to the suspect as he sat in his red older model sedan,” Capt. Staley said in a news release. “The suspect made lewd comments and appeared to be masturbating underneath his clothing.”
The girl hurried home and the man, who had a toddler, about 3-years old, in a car seat in the backseat of the vehicle, did not follow her. She told her family, who in turn called police.
The suspect was described as a 20-year-old Hispanic man, with shaved black hair, brown eyes “chubby” with a baby face, according to the girl. There was no description of the man’s vehicle.
