Andrew Miura, who grew up in Morro Bay and graduated from Morro Bay High and is now a second-year student in aeronautical engineering at Ohio State University, spent a couple of weeks this summer back in his old haunts, putting his DJI Phantom 3 drone to good use.

“It took about two weeks of solid filming to make the video at the end of July and early August,” Miura explains. “It was shot everywhere around the Central Coast, including San Luis Obispo, Cayucos, Morro Bay, Los Osos and Montaña de Oro.”

Miura offered the resultant video to Tolosa Press, which he is a big fan of, to post on our website, explaining that drones have been getting a bad rap lately, and he wants to show the other, productive side of their use.
