People Helping People of Los Osos is having its Annual Octoberfest Pizza Party at 6 .m. Thursday, Oct. 13 at the South Bay Community Center on Palisades Avenue. Cost is $8 a person and must be purchased in advance at the PHP Office at the community center, open weekdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Dinner includes a pizza, salad, dessert and coffee or punch. Music by the Mud Skippers jazz band. Doors open at 5:30.
